DCYC
Membership is open to individuals or families with a desire to participate in sailboat racing on Deep Creek Lake. Membership is divided into five categories: Corporate, Junior, Trial, Associate, and Reciprocal.
A
one-year Trial Membership is required prior to applying for Corporate
or Junior Membership. Trial Membership affords both
the club and the new member time to become acquainted, while
allowing the new member full use of club facilities. A Trial
member works with a sponsor who helps them get to know DCYC
and its members. Participation is the key—socialize,
go sailing, ask questions, read the house, dock and safety
guidelines, and join in the celebrations. In short—have
fun! Applications for Trial Membership are available at the
club, or from the Commodore or Membership Committee Chairman.
A Membership Application and Club Brochure are also available
for download in PDF format by clicking on the links at right.
